受到周杰倫賞識、長得又漂亮，還曾獲得好幾座選美小姐冠軍，這位優秀的女孩就是袁詠琳，大家會知道她，通常都是因為周董力捧，雖然擁有音樂才華，但始終沒有真正大紅大紫的機會，即使如此她仍持續在演藝圈打拼，並同時追逐著運動員的夢想！

今天10/22是我出道十年的紀念日。真的沒想到一眨眼時間就這樣過去了。 當時我只是一個大學剛畢業，帶著音樂夢想的德州村姑，來到台灣找尋機會。我的初衷很簡單：用音樂帶給大家娛樂，盼望，療癒，和正能量。我只想努力當個好榜樣，真心對待身邊的每個人，愛護珍惜所有支持和幫助我的朋友，充滿熱情地對待我每份工作。我只能說，上帝爸爸真的很恩待很祝福我。 這十年，我簽進了很棒的杰威爾音樂，認識了很多很棒的人，交了很多很棒的朋友，也得到了一個很有愛的袁寶家庭。我好幸福，好滿足，好快樂，好感恩。我不知道我會不會有下個十年，但只要還有機會，我都會好好把握，做最好，最真實的自己。謝謝你們成就了我，我愛你們！ Today is the 10-year anniversary of my debut as an artist. Man, it’s so hard to believe how fast time flies. . At the time, I was just a simple country girl from Texas who had just graduated from college… and I came to Taiwan with one goal only in mind: find opportunities to do music. My dream was very simple: use music to bring entertainment, hope, healing, and positivity to those around me. I really tried to genuinely care for every person that came into my life, to love and cherish all my friends and fans who supported and helped me along the way, and treat every job/performance with my deepest passion and enthusiasm. All I can say is, God has truly blessed me. . In the past ten years, I signed to an amazing record company JVR music, I met a lot of really great people, made a lot of amazing friends, and I am incredibly blessed to now have my “Yen Baby” family. I am so happy, so grateful and so incredibly content. I don't know if I will have another ten years in the industry, but as long as there is still a chance and there are opportunities, I will cherish them with all my heart and be the best that I can be. 袁詠琳的父母分別是成大、台大畢業，小時候受到高學歷父母薰陶，袁詠琳讓爸媽相當驕傲，畢業於德州大學奧斯汀分校，雙主修音樂系與廣播新聞學位，4歲就開始學習鋼琴，還會拉小提琴、彈吉他等，是一位高學歷音樂才女。
別看袁詠琳好像只會讀書跟樂器，笑起來氣質又甜美的她，在學期間可是參加過美式足球校隊，不只可以文靜，運動細胞也是相當發達，參加校內男女混合奪旗式美式足球賽時，更為隊伍拿奪下冠軍寶座！
除了是美式足球校隊，袁詠琳近年更迷上網球，她也感覺到網球對她幫助很大，增強了肺活量，唱歌跳舞的能力都進步不少，還因為長時間運動，讓她能夠保持好身材。而袁詠琳熱愛網球的程度，超乎大家想像，她甚至想要參加業餘組比賽，甚至是以網球四大公開賽的「Seniors Pro」為目標，達成運動生涯的第二夢想。
袁詠琳是個名副其實的運動狂，即使成為藝人後，仍然培養新專長，不僅網球，她也會打籃球、排球、滑雪等運動，也參加過路跑活動，在演藝圈裡，可以算是數一數二仍在體育表現不停進步的藝人！
近期她也在真人秀節目《乘風破浪的姐姐》參賽，期待袁詠琳的音樂及表演能讓越來越多人喜愛，更祝福她可以完成網球夢想，成為演藝圈之光！
